Dave Benjamin has published three collections of poetry – He has a First Class Honours
Degree in the combined disciplines of Modern English & Art in Society. His musical “Sunflower Days” was shortlisted for the prestigious Vivian Ellis Prize (An award whose judges included Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice, and Don Black). He has written columns in various local newspapers; he run a number of creative writing groups in the Neath area; he spent a term as a writing lecturer at Afan College, Port Talbot (BTEC Performing Arts); and was a writer in residence at The Dylan Thomas Theatre. Dave wrote and presented an original comedy series on local radio. He won a national Channel 4 competition for writers of New Media Comedy; he co-wrote Channel 4’s first internet comedy sketch show: “The Paranoia Show”.
